The total number of clients is probably alarming, with somewhere in the region of thousands of transplants performed each month in our country. Unfortunately, the numbers can’t be confirmed because, with no regulations in place, no official statistics are available. This should ring alarm bells immediately.
It’s a sad fact that in my role as a transplant ambassador, I’ve met a number of men who were seduced by online price drop advertisements starting at 30000 rs INR and are now brutally disfigured, presented with limitations, and who are beyond repair. However, this is an unfair reflection on those clinics and surgeons who are doing the right thing and providing clients with the highest levels of service and care. And yes, still at more affordable price points than you may find in other developed countries. Once you decide on a clinic to get your hair transplant done, a series of checks are mandatory before payments are made.
1. A profile of the Surgeon who will perform the procedure and his or her academic qualifications and training. (maxillofacial surgeons, Dermatologists, and Plastic surgeons ) and take the medical registration number.
2. How many years of experience does the Surgeon have?
3. Qualifications of the operation theater assistants and their training.
4. Visit the operation theater and see the facilities and safety features.
5. Read the authentic Google reviews of the clients, and if possible, speak to a couple of them to understand their experience with the Doctor and clinic.
6. Understand the method of hair transplant that will be performed on you, Basic FUE, Implanter method FUE, or Sapphire method FUE.
7. See the tools used and the actual before and after pictures of the surgeon's job. So the best hair transplant Doctors are chosen based on the above criteria, but it’s very important to understand, starting at the beginning of the blog, what can go wrong and the matter of fact on Aesthetic procedures performed in our country.
