There are various criteria’s based on that hair transplant procedure is been recommended and performed. Not only the donor capacity and the quality of the grafts are important, medical fitness is equally important. There are 7 stages of hair loss condition on men and beyond stage of hair loss condition hair transplant procedure is not possible to perform for the simple reason is the donor capacity doesn’t support to extract 19 to 20 thousand single hair follicles which is required for stage 5 of hair loss condition. Hence the mandatory medical tests included complete blood count of the client with normal values, bleeding time, clotting time, HIV duo elisa process, Hbsag, anti-hcv and a normal value ECG is mandatory. Based on the values the Surgeon decides the eligibility of the procedure for the client. In case any of the values are not normal the Surgeon can decide to drop the case as it will not meet the pre requisites of the procedure guidelines.
